Update: September 11th 2003

An economic model for Ireland, developed at Trinity College Dublin,  can now be used to analyse major agricultural policy reforms and other policy reforms affecting agriculture. In particular it can provide estimates of the downstream impacts of these reforms on the food industry and wider economy.  

The paper below describing the "IMAGE" Model was the subject of a seminar held at the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin on September 5th, 2003.
